My poor daughter is going through a difficult time with her pussy cat.
He is having that awful problem that some male cats experience.
Blockage!!
Of course she is blaming herself for not being aware of the symptoms and not acting quickly enough.
His potassium levels were extremely high which was a major concern.
So now after committing to a flushing, blood work, xrays and a weekend in ICU it looks like he is on the mend.
He is out of ICU but in a 24 hour care unit.
He is peeing on his own and his potassium level is within normal range.
He still isn't out of the danger zone but his prognosis looks much better than on Friday.
Today we went to her wedding venue to scope it out and put a deposit down.
I think it gave her a wee something to smile about.
So we are now official --- November 3rd 2012!!!!
